Fund Raising Project – Lucky Charm Bottle Selling

     In conjunction with the exam season, Leo Club of SMK Cochrane had organised a lucky charm bottle sale. The price of the lucky charm bottle is RM4.00 per bottle. The project started on 23rd September (Monday) and ended on 27th September (Friday). 23 Cochrane Leos were involved in the project. The project was to raise fund for the club by selling the lucky charm bottles to the students in the school. During the project, 33 lucky charm bottles were sold and the total fund raised was RM132.00. This project provided an opportunity for the students to show their support towards their friends on the upcoming examinations.

School Service Project - Painting the Restrooms (2)

     On 4th October 2013 (Friday), 16 Cochrane Leos had carried out the restrooms painting project in the school for the second time. During the project, the Leos beautified the restrooms by painting the walls of the restrooms. The project started at 10.00am and ended at 12.30pm. The Leos managed to paint the walls of 2 restrooms during this project. It was a good opportunity for the leos to serve for their beloved school besides showing their appreciation towards the school.

     On 28th September 2013 (Saturday), Leo Club of SMK Cochrane had carried out the restrooms painting project in the school. It was a joint project that was participated by 14 Cochrane Leos and 8 members from Skuad Combi. During the project, the Leos beautified the restrooms by painting the walls of the restrooms. 

     The project started at 11.30am and ended at 2.30pm. The Leos managed to paint the walls of 3 restrooms during this project. It was a good opportunity for the leos to serve for their beloved school besides showing their appreciation towards the school.

Mid-Autumn Festival 2013

    On 14th September 2013 (Saturday), Leo Club of SMK Cochrane had organised the Mid-Autumn Festival 2013. It was a joint project that involved the Leo Club, PPU Board and Chinese Society of SMK Cochrane. The aim of the event was to engage the chinese community, other ethnic groups and youths in preserving chinese tradition and heritage. 

        The event was held at the assembly ground of SMK Cochrane, Jalan Shahbandar, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. During the event, the guests are entertained by lively performances, folk songs, lantern riddles, and dance performances. Besides that, there were also stalls that sold handmade moon cakes, “tang yuan” and badges to the guests. The event started at 5.00pm and ended at 9.00pm. It was a very successful event and everyone enjoyed themselves very much.
