On 31st August 2013 (Saturday), 8 leos from Leo Club of SMK Cochrane had participated in the Independence Day Project in conjunction with the Independence Day of our country, Malaysia. It was a joint project that involved 5 alpha leo clubs, that are Leo Club of SMK Cochrane, SMK Kepong Baru, SMK Damansara Utama, SMK USJ 13, and SMK Datok Lokman. During the project, the leos distributed Malaysia flags to the people besides selling items such as badges and drinks to raise fund for their clubs. The project started at 11.30am and ended at 1.30pm. It was a good opportunity for the leos to show their love and appreciation towards their country.
